To be honest, I almost deleted this question so I didn’t have an uprising or something. My answer probably goes under the “unpopular opinion” department. If you follow my personal (shameless self-promotion), you would know my brutally honest opinion on all this. I think the Hall was hoping for an Appetite-lineup reunion out of all this. And I agree with Eddie Trunk on the whole snubbing thing or whatever. Axl told them to shove it and I’m kind of glad he did. As nice as it would have been to see him at least attempting to get along with Slash, I completely understand why he wouldn’t want to, either. As far as a reunion goes, I kind of prefer Axl with this lineup because he’s happier with it and more willing to make music. And I may or may not ship Axl and Bumblefoot harder than I ship Slaxl.

So, anon, after putting this question off for days, I hope this answers it.
